Ojai, CA – Bodees’s restaurant located in Ojai, on 3304 Maricopa Highway is pleased to announce that Chef Myk Aviles is now the Executive Chef at this landmark dining venue. Born and raised in Ventura, California, Chef Myk graduated from the Culinary Art Institute of Los Angeles, specializing in fine dining world cuisine. Over the past eleven years, Chef Myk has expressed his passion, creativity, and overall love for food through his fusion inspired cuisine. He has honed his skills at fine dining establishments across the United States and has returned to his roots here in Ventura County as Bodee’s Executive Chef in May of 2009.
According to Chef Myk, “One of my greatest pleasures is enticing one’s palate through the use of locally grown produce, fresh seafood, and wild game. I have spent a good portion of my career developing à la minute sauces and seasonings that complement and enhance the most complex dishes.”
Additionally, Chef Myk states, “The root to any great chef’s success is to embrace your surroundings, thereby enhancing the overall dining experience.” Bodee’s unique ambience and location is unequalled anywhere in the County, making it a unique destination for a weeknight dinner or special weekend occasion.
